Print, Copy and Scan

You can use the Bodleian Libraries PCAS service to print, copy and scan material in this library. Find out more about how to use PCAS and how to setup or top up your PCAS account.

Connect to library Wi-Fi

The Bodleian Libraries offer several Wi-Fi networks, including ‘Bodleian-Libraries’ for University and Bodleian Reader card holders, and ‘eduroam’ for members of educational institutions. Find out more about how to connect.

Computers and software for SBS members

The Sainsbury Library offers PCs and iMacs for SBS members to use. To login, use your network username (not your full email address) and password. The library iMacs are installed with Orchard Software Centre, which is similar to the App Store. You can use the Orchard Software Centre app to install apps from the Orchard software list (some apps may require a licence).

The University of Oxford provides a wide variety of software for staff and students including SPSS, STATA, ArcGIS, NVivo, Windows, EndNote and MATLAB.

The Sainsbury Library also provides additional software for Oxford Saïd members. Overleaf is an easy to use, online, collaborative document editor. If you do not yet have an Overleaf account, register on their website and then contact us at to set up your Professional account.

Use Bodleian Libraries PCs

Three PCs are available for any member of the Bodleian Libraries to use. Find out more about how to use library PCs.

Request or reserve items

You may request items from the Bodleian Libraries offsite stacks for delivery to the Sainsbury Library. Requested books can only be read in the Sainsbury Library during staffed hours. If you wish to view your requested items at evenings or weekends, you should request them to a library with longer opening hours, such as the Bodleian Social Science Library. Find out more about how to request items via SOLO

Alumni access to resources

The Bodleian Libraries, together with the Saïd Business School Alumni Relations Office and the University of Oxford Alumni Office, are proud to bring you an exceptional collection of library databases. Find out more about how to register and conditions of access.

Technology loans

The library offers a range of tools and accessories for loan. To borrow any of these items, please ask a member of library staff. If there is an item not listed that you would like us to provide, please do contact us to make a recommendation.
