We are open:

Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pm

Summer closures

The Nizami Ganjavi Library will be closed on Monday 31 August and Monday 7 – Tuesday 8 September.

Term time

From Monday 12 October we will be open:

Monday – Friday: 9am – 6pm

A weekend book transfer service to the Art, Archaeology and Ancient World Library for confined material runs during term.

About the library

The Nizami Ganjavi Library is based in the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. It is Oxford University's main library for materials on the Middle East, North Africa, the Caucasus, South & Central Asia and Korea. It is open to all card holders for personal study.
