The Leopold Muller Memorial Library is committed to providing equal access to their services and facilities for all users. Level access to the Leopold Muller Memorial Library site is via the back door entrance off the OUP parking lot.
Wheelchair users should contact the library (email@example.com) about access arrangements prior to their first visit, and it is necessary to have a tailored induction before beginning to use the library.
Assistance animals, such as guide dogs and hearings dogs, are always allowed in to the Bodleian Libraries.
There is a level access disabled toilet available in the Leopold Muller Memorial Library.
Tailored one to one user education and induction sessions can be arranged if needed. Please contact Rachel D'Arcy-Brown to discuss your requirements firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01865 610-445 or -444.
University members with disabilities can be registered as Leopold Muller Memorial Library privileged readers. This membership provides extended loans in term (28 days) on all lending books except for high use, and up to 25 books can be borrowed.
Readers can request proxy borrowing on their account by a support workers or designated helper. In the first instance contact email@example.com to arrange this. All items borrowed in this way remain the responsibility of the disabled reader.
Renewals and reservations
Books can be renewed three times online via the SOLO library catalogue.
Disabled readers with privileged membership are welcome to request additional renewals in person, by phone 01865 610-444, or by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Books that are currently out on loan can be reserved online via SOLO.
For more information about using SOLO, including video, audio and text guides, please visit http://ox.libguides.com/solo.
Staff are always happy to help get books from high shelves, or from less accessible areas in the library, and it is possible to contact us by phone 01865 610-445 or -444, or by email email@example.com with a list of the books you need and ask staff to put them aside for collection by yourself or your support worker. Please bear in mind that at busy times there may be a delay before we are able to fulfill your request.
