Social Science Library
The Social Science Library entrance area will be fully refurbished over the Summer Vacation. The library space will be closed to readers from Thursday 6 August – Sunday 11 October (inclusive), but we will offer book fetching, Scan & Deliver and other key services. SSL interim services
During this closure, we are offering a fetching and enquiry service from the Manor Road Building reception desk. Current service hours are:
Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pm
Saturday: 10am – 4pm
From Sunday 4 October – Sunday 11 October, our service hours will be:
Monday – Friday: 9am – 10pm
Saturday: 10am – 6pm
Sunday: 11am – 7pm
Library reopening

About the library
The Social Science Library (SSL) is one of the University of Oxford's busiest lending and reference libraries, supporting staff and students in the Social Sciences Division. We offer a wide range of workspaces, as well as borrowing services, printing and IT facilities and research support.
