As you prepare to finish your degree and leave Oxford, here are some things to remember.
If you have items on loan from any libraries, please make sure you return them to the library from which you borrowed them before you leave. You will accrue fines on any books not returned by their due date.
Fines and lost books
Remember to pay any outstanding fines you may have accrued or fees owing for any lost books. You can check whether you have outstanding fines or charges on your library account by logging into SOLO. You can pay fines of £2 or more through the Oxford University store.
Lost book charges can only be paid to the library from which the lost item was borrowed.
Print, Copy and Scan (PCAS) account
Any unused credit on your PCAS account cannot be refunded. We encourage you to use it before you leave Oxford.
You can request a transfer of credit to another PCAS account. Contact the PCAS team to find out more.
Your PCAS account can be used again if you visit the Bodleian Libraries, but it will close after two years of inactivity. If your PCAS account is linked to your university email address, you will need to change this to another email address before the email address expires.
You can also use your PCAS credit to pay for Scan and Deliver and Postal Photocopying.
If you have registered for an individual RefWorks account you will have lifetime access to that account (for as long as we continue to subscribe).
For more information on RefWorks and the other reference management software we support, see our references management guide.
Oxford Alumni resources and privileges
As a graduate of the University of Oxford, you can apply for a Bodleian Reader card for non-borrowing access to the Bodleian Libraries. Alumni can also gain access to a collection of library databases via free registration. Find out more in our guide for alumni.
