Collections

The Sherardian Library's collections cover research in plant taxonomy, systematics, floristics and plant evolution. Books and print journals are held by the library, and e-journals and e-books are accessible through SOLO, the University’s library catalogue.

There is a New Book Display in the Fielding-Druce Herbarium. You can find information about recent additions to the collection on the collection guide.

Special collections

The Sherardian Library contains many rare books, manuscripts and botanical artworks, including the Sherard Manuscripts and the Flora Graeca. Many of these collections have been digitized and are available to view online.
