The Sherardian Library of Plant Taxonomy will be moving with the Department of Biology into the new Life & Mind Building in summer 2025. Ahead of the move, work will be taking place to prepare the collections, with some periodicals and books transferring offsite to the Bodleian Storage Facility. Material held offsite will be available to request to Bodleian Libraries’ reading rooms (such as the Radcliffe Science Library) for consultation. Apologies for any disruption this work may cause. The Sherardian Library of Plant Taxonomy is in the Department of Biology. The library collections cover research in plant taxonomy, systematics, floristics and plant evolution, in addition to special collections and historical material. The library is associated with the Oxford University Herbaria.
