Information on this page is for readers and researchers using the Weston Library's reading rooms.
Opening hours for tours, exhibitions, events, café & shop
Reading rooms
Monday – Friday: 9am – 7pm
Saturday: 10am – 4pm
Reader spaces are locked from 7pm on weekdays and 4pm on Saturdays. Please leave the building with your possessions by those times.
Headley Tearoom (staff and readers)
Monday – Friday: 10am – 4pm
Admissions Office
The Admissions Office will be closed on Saturday 12 October. Anyone without a library card who has pre-ordered library material for that day should contact Admissions or the relevant library, who will arrange access.
About the library
The Weston Library is home to the Bodleian Libraries’ special collections. It is a working library and research centre, and a public event and exhibition space.
The library has three reading rooms and a number of seminar rooms and other study spaces. It is home to:
- Centre for Digital Scholarship
- Visiting Scholars Centre (Centre for the Study of the Book).
- Bodleian Libraries Admissions Office
