Who may borrow?

  • University card holders may borrow books from this library.
  • Bodleian Reader card holders have reference-only access; they cannot borrow books.

Your borrowing allowance will depend on your user type.

Renew and return

Fines and charges

  • You will accrue a fine for any borrowed item that is not returned by its due date. The tariff is 50p per item per day.  
  • Fines can be paid at the library desk, or fines over £2 can be paid online via the Oxford University store.  
  • If you lose a book borrowed from this library, you will be required to pay a lost book replacement charge. This can be paid by cash or cheque at the library desk, or online via the store
