Collection overview
The Oriental Section is responsible for the following collections within the Bodleian Humanities, Social Sciences and Special Collections Libraries.
- Far-Eastern subjects: comprising China and Inner Asia; Japan and Korea.
- Near and Middle-Eastern subjects: comprising the Ancient Near East; Egyptology; Hebraica, Judaica and Semitics; and the Middle East .
- South and South-East Asian subjects: comprising South Asia and South-East Asia.
