Opening Hours

Term time:

Open 24 hours a day to current resident members of Jesus College and registered Celtic Library readers. Open to other readers by appointment only.

Vacation:

Open 24 hours a day to current resident members of Jesus College and registered Celtic Library readers. Open to other readers by appointment only.

Closed:

Jesus College is closed over Christmas, New Year, and Easter. The College is usually open on other Bank Holidays.

Subjects Covered

The Meyricke Library supports study in all subjects taught at undergraduate level in Jesus. The Celtic Library supports study and research in Celtic languages (Welsh, Irish, Scottish Gaelic, Breton, Cornish, Manx) together with Celtic history, archaeology and culture. There is an important collection of early printed books in the Fellows' Library. The College's medieval and early modern manuscripts are on deposit in the Weston Library. The John Wellingham Organ Studies Library is available to all current organ scholars in the University on application to the Chaplain and the Librarian.
