Opening hours
We are open:
- For academic staff, graduate and undergraduate students of the Humanities Division (including Joint Schools in Philosophy) and staff and students of the Oxford Internet Institute: 9am — 9pm daily.
Weekend 9am–9pm access to the building is currently only enabled for those listed above. Weekend access is via the out-of-hours door; refer to the building induction for details.
- For other University members and Bodleian Reader card holders (until further notice): Monday — Friday, 9am — 8pm.

About the library
The new Humanities Library is housed in the new Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities. It brings together seven libraries and collections: English language and literature, film studies, history of medicine, music, philosophy, theology and religion, and internet studies.
The library offers over 410 study spaces with dedicated graduate study areas, group study rooms, a Multimedia Room and film viewing facilities.
