Apply for a library card at the Oxford Lifelong Learning Library

How to apply

You can use this form to apply for a library card if you are registered on a weekly class at the Department of Continuing Education and:

  • you do not already have a Oxford Lifelong Learning Library card
  • you do not have a University or Bodleian Reader card

If you have a library card from a previous course, you do not need to submit this form. Please contact the library to update your details.

Please note: An Oxford Lifelong Learning Library card entitles the card holder to:

  • borrow physical books from the Oxford Lifelong Learning Library in Rewley House, Oxford;
  • log in to computers in the Oxford Lifelong Learning Library, and in the Student Resource Room at Ewert House, Oxford;
  • log in to the Bodleian Libraries Wi-Fi network, available in the Continuing Education Library.

An Oxford Lifelong Learning Library card does not provide access to the University's online subscription resources via SOLO from home.

The Oxford Lifelong Learning Library card is therefore only appropriate for those who are able to visit the Oxford Lifelong Learning Library and/or the Student Resource Room at Ewert House in person.
