Duke Humfrey's Library
As the Weston Library is now open to readers, Special Collections operations have relocated to the newly opened reading rooms in the Weston. Duke Humfrey's Library is now overseen by the Bodleian Library Reader Services Department. The quiet study space in this reading room augments the seating currently available elsewhere in the Old Bodleian Library. Reader seating is available in the bays off the main body of Duke Humfrey’s Library and also in Selden End.
Duke Humfrey's Library will operate as a reading room supporting higher-level studies in the Humanities. Historic open-shelf material will remain in situ in Arts End and in the bays. This material can be requested through SOLO and will be provided for consultation in the Weston Library as required.
Duke Humfrey's Library has the following opening hours:
These hours are the same in term and vacation, though may be affected by closed periods and Bank Holidays.
More information about the collections that will move into the Seldon End will follow.
