Oxford University Press is running an online demonstration/training session on using their online resources on a research journey on Thursday 28 August at 12pm. The session will briefly deal with the following resources:
- Oxford Reference
- Very Short Introductions
- Oxford Bibliographies
- Oxford Handbooks
- University Press Scholarship Online (including Oxford Scholarship Online)
- Oxford Index
The session is open to any staff or library users and is free of charge. It will take about 40-45 minutes and will look at different search options, features and practical uses of the resources. There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.
OUP use WebEx conferencing software and, unless your network has restrictions, you can access the session anywhere - all you need is a computer with an Internet connection and a speaker. You can test that your system will be able to connect to the session by going to www.webex.com/lp/jointest/. If necessary, please speak to your IT administrator to make sure that you will be able to connect when the time comes.
If you would like to attend, please register and you will receive an invitation containing details of how to log in to the session. Please note that there is a limit of 30 participants, although OUP will offer further dates if the number of available places is exceeded.
Further training resources, including the full schedule of online training sessions and recordings of previous sessions, can be accessed via the OUP website.
