The IT Support Helpdesk is staffed during normal working hours, from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
At present no formal cover is provided outside of normal working hours. Outside of these times staff from BDLSS and IT Services respond to critical issues on a best efforts basis. Examples of problems that could reasonably be considered as critical in this context include:
- SOLO being generally unavailable
- disconnection of an entire library from the University network
- all libraries unable to access our electronic resources
