Printing, Copying & Scanning (PCAS)

PCAS logoAny library card holder can copy, print and scan using the Bodleian Libraries' PCAS system.

To operate any of the self-service printer/copiers/scanners you will need to set up an online PCAS account.

How do I set up an account?

You will first need to register for an account, creating your own user name and password and then add credit to this account in order to pay for your copying, printing or scanning. You can set up a new PCAS account (using your credit or debit card) by visiting PCAS Webpay. Once you have set up an account you can add credit by visiting the same site. Please note: setting up a PCAS account does not guarantee access to the Bodleian Libraries.  Admission is only for holders of a valid Library card.

Printing from computers is also managed by the PCAS system. You can pay for prints using your PCAS account. Prints can be collected from any copier/printer in any of the Bodleian Libraries. Log onto the copier/printer with your PCAS username/password and all print jobs sent to your account will be waiting for you. Print jobs are purged after 72 hours.

Laptop and remote printing system

RemotePrint is a web based system that allows you to send print jobs from your laptop, home PC and mobile phone to PCAS.  You can then collect your printing at any of the Bodleian Libraries copiers/printers.
