Services and facilities at the Continuing Education Library

This page provides information about general services and facilities available in the Continuing Education Library. Our resources and services are tailored to different user groups within the department. For information about services for particular groups, read our guidance section.

Your library account

When your University, Bodleian Reader or Continuing Education Library card is issued to you, you will have a library account created for you automatically. This can be used to log into library PCs, the Bodleian Libraries Wi-Fi, your SOLO account and the Print, Copy and Scan (PCAS) service.

Your username is the first 7 digits printed near the barcode on your card. A password may have been generated for you by library staff, or you can create a password or reset your password.

Print, Copy and Scan (PCAS)

This library offers printing, copying and scanning facilities connected to the Bodleian Libraries PCAS system. Find out more about how to use PCAS and how to manage and top up your PCAS account

Connect to library Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi networks are available in Bodleian Libraries for University, Bodleian Reader and library card-holders. Find out more about how to connect.

Use library computers

This library has 7 library PCs equipped with a range of software, and 2 ’Quick Search’ terminals for searching SOLO. Find out more about how to access and use Bodleian Libraries computers. Library computers are provided primarily to access library resources.

The Department for Continuing Education has a student computing facility open to University card holders enrolled on Continuing Education courses. Please ask at Rewley House reception for details.
