Information skills training is available to all members of the University throughout the academic year. These courses range from general induction for new members to subject specific tutorials.

Research skills training

Training sessions in research skills are organised in conjunction with departments.

  • Need help in finding research literature?
  • Want to know about new e-resources?

Your Subject Librarian, can organise individual and group consultations to help you find research material for your assays, projects or dissertations.

The Bodleian Libraries offer Inductions and information skills training to both Undergraduates and Postgraduates.  Other information sessions are open to all members of the University of Oxford: undergraduates, postgraduates, academic and support staff (including librarians).

WISER lunchtime sessions are designed to enable members of Oxford University to make the most effective use of electronic and other library resources to support their information, research, teaching and learning needs.
