About the Conservative Party Archive

Established in 1978, the Conservative Party Archive is the official repository for the historic records of the Conservative Party and affiliated organisations dating from 1867 to the present, and is financed solely from private donations through the Conservative Party Archive Trust. It is housed at the Bodleian Library, University of Oxford, and is a valuable source for anyone interested in the economic, social and political history of the late 19th and 20th centuries.
