Admissions
(I) Members of the University
Current members of Oxford University, including academic visitors registered with a College or department, may register to use the Library. Admission is by current blue-stripe University Card, which should be obtained from your college or department.

(II) Non-members
Bona fide researchers in the Library's subject areas may register to use the Library for reference only.
Admission is normally by (gold-stripe or brown-stripe) Bodleian Any prospective reader intending to use the Sackler Library is requested to obtain a Bodleian Libraries Readers' Card before their first visit to the Sackler. Further details and the relevant application form are available from the Bodleian Libraries' website. Applicants should bring a form of identification and a letter of introduction from their home institution.
Red-stripe Bodleian ticket holders may register for 12 individual days within the period of validity of the ticket.
Green- or turquoise-stripe Bodleian ticket holders (undergraduates from other UKHEIs) studying in the Library's subject areas:
Vacation: may register the ticket for any vacation during the period of validity of the ticket.
Term: may apply with a letter of recommendation from their tutor specifying a topic of study relevant to the Library and the need to use the Library during Term. Registration will be for 1 or 2 days only.
Mauve-stripe Bodleian tickets. Special arrangements apply — please contact the administrator of your host institution.
