As a dependent Library of the Bodleian, members of the Oriental Institute Library are allowed to order up to 6 Bodleian stack books (to be kept in the Library at all times).  Deliveries of books from the Central Bodleian arrive on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's.

We have a dedicated PC for the world renowned Hebrew database 'Bar Ilan'.  (CD available on request from the issue desk).

Should readers wish to keep all of their books ready for the next day, they only need to leave a note on the desk and we will not reshelve any open shelf books.
