Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pm

Christmas opening hours

The library will be closed from 4.30pm on Tuesday 23 December. It will reopen at 9am on Monday 5 January.   

Term time

From Monday 19 January we will be open:

Monday – Friday: 9am – 6pm

A weekend book transfer service to the Art, Archaeology and Ancient World Library for confined material runs during term.

About the library

The Nizami Ganjavi Library is based in the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. It is Oxford University's main library for materials on the Middle East, North Africa, the Caucasus, South & Central Asia and Korea. It is open to all card holders for personal study.
