Bodleian Products Win Awards

ace_award_webTwo Bodleian Library products have won awards from the Association of Cultural Enterprises (ACE).

The Best Product award went to the Bodleian’s ‘Colourful Titles’ range of wrapping paper, notebooks, mugs and cards, which feature book covers from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. They are on sale online and through the Bodleian shop.

Sally Charleton. Head of Commercial Operations, said: ‘We are delighted with the award which will help us to promote and endorse this already popular new range.’

The book The Rules of Association Football, 1863 was highly commended in the category of Best New Publication from a smaller organization. In 2006 the Bodleian won the Best Book award for Instructions for British Servicemen in France 1944.

The awards were presented last week at the end of ACE’s two-day convention in London, during a special event in the crypt of St Paul’s Cathedral.
