Image Galleries

Image galleries will be added frequently. Apart from making our site more attractive, they serve three functions:

  • Showing the many and varied subjects and types of material represented in the main headings of the John Johnson Collection. 
  • Illustrating genres of material specific to ephemera, e.g. Trade cards, Bills of lading, Bill headings
  • Showing examples of searching across sections of the Collection (e.g. Cats)
