Visual History from the John Johnson Collection, Bodleian Library
A new series of books will focus on various aspects of the John Johnson Collection. The first, published in May 2011, is Illustrating Empire: a visual history of British Imperialism by Ashley Jackson and David Tomkins.

This superb collection was donated to the Library in 2007 and now forms part of the John Johnson Collection. A series of books has been written by Andrew Roberts, in 2008-2009, on the following themes:
