New Evidence Update on organ donation from NICE

A new Evidence Update on organ donation has been published by NICE, a summary of selected new evidence relevant to NICE clinical guideline 135 ‘Organ donation for transplantation: improving donor identification and consent rates for deceased organ donation’ (2011).

NICE Evidence Updates provide a summary of selected new evidence published since the literature search was last conducted for the accredited guidance they relate to. They help to reduce the need for individuals, managers and commissioners to search for new evidence, and keep health and social care professionals up-to-date with new research. They also indicate whether the new evidence may have a potential impact on current guidance.
