What library services are available?

All the libraries at Oxford are committed to providing equal access to services and facilities for all our readers.

The services we provide include:

  • Extended loans
  • Proxy loans
  • Individual and personalized inductions
  • Daylight lamps for library use
  • Hand-held magnifiers for library use
  • Diverting materials to accessible areas if you are unable to access a reading room

If you require any of these services, please contact the Disability Librarian (see: 'How do I contact the disability librarian?').

Alternatively, there is a Disability contact in each library who will also be able to assist you.   For contact details for individual libraries see: 'What access arrangements and facilities are available in my library?'
