Description
This is a mini-series of lectures offering an introduction to lesser-known European literatures (Galician, Portuguese and Lithuanian) and an alternative perspective on creative multilingualism from a literary perspective following on from the lecture series of the same title in Michaelmas 2019 and accompanying the Bodleian exhibition Babel: adventures in translation.

The Taylor Institution is located on the corner of St Giles and Beaumont St. Entrance to the Taylor Institution Library is from St Giles and the entrance may be easily spotted as there is a ramp for disabled access. The entrance to the Building is access-controlled and those who are not registered members of the library will need to press a button and speak to the porter to gain admittance. To reach Room 2 turn left and keep going until you come to a staircase on your left. Room 2 is on the left. Further information about getting to the Taylor Institution Library.
