Discover the stories of women who dared to do the unexpected at the Bodleian's new Sappho to Suffrage exhibition. Join in with some family-friendly activities inspired by the exhibition:

  • Join an artist-led risograph workshop to create a page for a collaborative alternative guide to the exhibition by drawing, writing, printing, and collaging - advance booking required.
  • Make your own campaign badges or posters inspired by suffrage memorabilia.
  • Help UnderConstruction Theatre make a show about women at different stages of their life. Join members of their creative team to contribute your experiences of what it is like to be a woman in today's world. Artists will be conducting 1-2-1 interviews and collecting quick-fire responses to create an installation of shared stories which will be added to their ongoing project archive.

Advance booking for the risograph workshop is recommended. The session is free and runs 12-1.30pm.

Other activities are drop-in, no need to book.
