Description
A conversation with no words between dancer Cecilia Macfarlane and cellist Jacqueline Johnson.
Short improvisations between two artists in 4 different imagined settings:
- on a sofa
- in a waiting room
- at the dining room table; and
- leaving.
The performers will inhabit four different areas of the Weston Library for this event. The audience will be able to move around the conversations as the piece develops and find their own unspoken words.
Within their conversation the dancers will reflect something of the volcano, the eruptions, heat, power and dust.
Three performances, lasting approx. 35 minutes each:
- 2pm
- 3pm
- 4pm
The performance is part of Oxford Dance Festival 2017.
