A seminar series with a book display organised by the Taylor Institution Library.

This talk will introduce Frisian - a minority language in the Netherlands, originally closely related to English. Similarities with English will be highlighted as well as linguistic features that aren't found in neighbouring languages. Although the number of Frisian speakers doesn't decrease too fast, the language is changing rapidly.

Free and open to all. No booking required.
