Political biographers D R Thorpe (Supermac: The Life of Harold Macmillan) and John Campbell (Roy Jenkins: A Well Rounded Life) will speak about their subjects' careers culminating in the role of Chancellor of the University of Oxford. The discussion will be chaired by Lord Patten of Barnes. There will also be a Q&A with the audience.

The Bodleian has recently completed the cataloguing of Roy Jenkins' Archive, which is now available to students and scholars.
