How do I set up an account?
PCAS accounts use Bodleian Libraries username and password (which is also used to login to reading room PCs and Bodleian Libraries WiFi). Information about this account is available from: http://www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/using/passwords
You can add credit to your account (using your credit or debit card) by visiting PCAS Webpay or request cash tops at libraries which handle cash, and using the cash loader at the Main Enquiry Desk in the Bodleian Library. On 24th June PCAS will adopt a new service for adding credit/debit card payments to replace Webpay. The old service will automatically redirect to the new URL and we anticipate that the service will be intuitive and not require separate guides or training
Please note: setting up a PCAS account does not guarantee access to the Bodleian Libraries. Admission is only for holders of a valid Library card.
How much does it cost?
The current costs for printing, copying and scanning are in the table below.
How do I photocopy, scan or print?
Printing from computers is also managed by the PCAS system. You can pay for prints using your PCAS account and prints can be collected from any copier/printer in any of the Bodleian Libraries. Log onto the copier/printer with your PCAS username/password and all print jobs sent to your account will be waiting for you. Print jobs are purged after 72 hours.
Laptop and remote printing system
RemotePrint is a web based system that allows you to send print jobs from your laptop, home PC and mobile device to PCAS. You can then collect your printing at any of the Bodleian Libraries copiers/printers.
You can access the RemotePrint system by going to http://remoteprint.bodleian.ox.ac.uk
Who do I contact to ask questions or report problems? It is best to contact a member of library staff in the first instance but you can also email email@example.com with questions and issues.
