TAY-TABS Relocation/Reintegration project overview
At the end of Michaelmas Term 2015 the Modern Languages Faculty approved the reintegration of the Taylor Bodleian Slavonic & Modern Greek Library with the Taylor Institution Library. This will involve a considerable amount of work in both sites in order to prepare our collections and library spaces. The project is due for completion by the beginning of Michaelmas Term 2016.
It is our current intention that the libraries remain open for as much of the time as is possible, but there will be occasions when reader access has to be restricted to certain areas. We aim to keep disruption to a minimum throughout the project.
However, we advise readers and visitors that there will be periods where books are unavailable, particularly during the Long Vacation (July – September). Please see below for details of closed periods and changes to service provision. If you are intending to visit either library during the summer, please contact us in advance to check whether the books you wish to consult are available.
If you have any questions about the reintegration please contact Frank Egerton, Taylor Operations Manager, in the first instance: email@example.com.For enquiries specifically relating to Slavonic and Modern Greek collections, please contact the TABS Reader Services Supervisors: firstname.lastname@example.org.
