TABS closing on Thursday 18 December for last stage of the electrical works

The Taylor Bodleian Slavonic and Modern Greek Library will be closing for Christmas and New Year at 5 pm on Thursday 18 December.

It is intended that the library will reopen on Tuesday 6 January 2015 at 9.30 am.

During the time when the library is closed, the final stages of the electrical work and re-carpeting will be completed.

Please note, however, that from the 6 January till Saturday 10 January, it is anticipated that only reading rooms on the First and Second floors will be open, as well as the Issue Desk. Books shelved on the Ground Floor will be fetched for readers.

It is also likely that during the week beginning Monday 15 December, books in the Basement will need to be requested and fetched due to re-carpeting.

If you have any questions about the above, please contact the Operations Manager, Frank Egerton:

We apologise for any inconvenience these works may cause and wish our readers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
