IT Services has launched two new websites in time for the start of Michaelmas term. is the departmentís promotional site, making it clear what the department does and highlighting services and projects. Content has been rationalised and is more dynamic, focused on user needs, engagement and discovery. is a new help and support repository aimed at users of IT Services, including what to do when things arenít working and how to request services and products. The focus is on enabling self-help by providing users with clear and searchable information and tools that are applicable to the services they use. In time local IT support staff and the wider University will be able to engage with IT Services by commenting on and/or contributing content to allow a more flexible, organic conversation with IT Services.
