From Friday 28th June to Friday 5th July, the IT network at the RSL will be upgraded. The outcome of this will be improved reliability and control of the network, and the availability of Eduroam throughout the building. The work will involve parts of the building being without network access for some periods (see below). Every effort will be made to minimise the impact on readers, and much of the work will take place before the library opens.
- Friday 28th June, 8.30am-1pm:
Individual wireless access points will be offline for periods of around 15 minutes.
- Monday 1st July, 8.30am-9am:
No network access for the entire building.
- Tuesday 2nd July, 8.30am-11am:
No network access on Levels 6 and 8.
- Wednesday 3rd July, 8.30am-9am:
No network access in the Entrance Hall (Level 4), Level 3 and part of Level 2.
- Thursday 4th July, 8.30am-11am:
No network access in part of Level 2 (wireless access should be restored by 9am).
- Friday 5th July, 9am-1pm:
No network access on Levels 5 and 7 (should be restored by 11am) and the Abbot's Kitchen and Training Room.
