Borrowing books and other items
The Bodleian Health Care Libraries collections of books, DVDs and other items are available for full members to borrow. You can borrow up to 10 books for 2 weeks and you can renew your books 26 times in the first instance - as long as no-one else has reserved them. Once you have renewed then 26 times, you will need to bring the books into the library for staff to see them and renew them again. After this, you can again renew up to 26 times. You can renew your books in lots of ways and staff are always willing to help you. We charge fines for late returns or renewals
Finding books - Library catalogueThe library catalogue is called SOLO. You can search for print books and journals as well as accessing electronic books and articles. You can check what items you have on loan and when they are due back, renew items, and manage reservation requests by logging into SOLO with your library card number and password. Please speak to a member of staff if you don't know your password. For a small fee, we can try to get hold of books and articles if we don't have them in the library
