Collections and resources
The RSL’s teaching collections have been temporarily relocated. All 23,000 books, including the undergraduate and graduate reading list collections that were on the open shelves at the RSL, have been transferred to the Vere Harmsworth Library.
Readers can make use of the study spaces in the VHL, including the two bookable group study rooms which are available for use by all members of the University.
Book fetching
Reference-only books from the RSL are currently held in the VHL's closed stack. To access these, please fill in a blue request slip at the VHL enquiry desk on the ground floor. Staff will fetch the items as soon as possible. These books cannot be taken out of the VHL.
Borrowing
All RSL books available for loan are now on the second floor of the VHL. To borrow items, please bring them to the VHL enquiry desk on the ground floor. The loan period for books is one week at a time. You may renew books up to 9 times online via SOLO, by phone or in person.
