Limited SOLO and Issue Desk services from 5 pm Friday 8th April until 9 am Monday 11th April

During the above period, the functionality of the SOLO catalogue and the library Circulation Management System will be significantly reduced.

As a result:

  • At libraries that open at the weekend, it will take a few moments longer to deal with your enquiry at the desks please bear with us;
  • On SOLO the Find & Request tab will not be visible, so there will be no live information about items and their availability;
  • It will not be possible for readers to view or renew loans via SOLO;
  • It will not be possible to place requests via SOLO;
  • Online access to electronic resources will be unaffected;
  • There will be a prominent yellow banner on SOLO explaining the above.

The reduced functionality is due to major maintenance work on associated systems.
