Keeping the University reading
With our library sites and reading rooms now closed until further notice, the Bodleian Libraries are working hard to make it possible to keep the University reading.
While our physical services are suspended, we are continuing to provide, and expanding, our digital services. Students and scholars can take advantage of a wide range online resources that can be accessed offsite. Readers can also get support and advice through our Live Chat and enquiries service.
We are also waiving fines on any books currently on loan and have extended their renewal period – they will be auto-renewed until 19 June 2020 (and will be automatically renewed for longer if the closure extends beyond this). We are considering other options to reintroduce lending on a limited basis, in the future. For Inter-Library Loans (ILL), electronic delivery is now available free of charge, although physical ILL is suspended.
Please visit the Bodleian Libraries website and social media channels for regular updates.

There is a limit of two requests a day and the scans should be received within five working days.
