What kinds of materials are included in BEAM?

BEAM is the home of digital archives that come to the Library through the work of archivists and curators who develop the Bodleian Libraries' Special Collections. Material can be in virtually any digital format, and may come to us on the creator's own digital media or by digital transfer.

What subjects do the digital archives cover?

Materials in BEAM reflect the collections policy of the Bodleian Libraries' Special Collections. The subjects covered are diverse:
