11 December 2013 — 16 February 2014
2013 is the centenary of the proposal for a new dictionary of Medieval Latin that led to the start of many dictionary projects across Europe. It also sees the completion of the final fascicule of the Dictionary of Medieval Latin from British Sources, which was for many years based in the offices of the Bodleian. In association with a celebratory conference and public lecture, this display will feature materials relating to the compilation of the Dictionary, including original quotation slips and textual sources.
