Two Gentlemen of Verona at the Bodleian Library

8 July 2016

During the period 19-31 July 2016 the Bodleian Library is delighted to host, in association with Oxford Playhouse, a Globe Theatre on Tour's production of Two Gentlemen of Verona in the Old Schools Quadrangle.

The performances take place outside of Library opening hours. Audience seating will be retained in the Quadrangle throughout this period but there will be ample space for readers to access the Library.

Set up will begin on Sunday 17 July, however it is not anticipated that any entrances to the Quadrangle will be closed off with the exception of a closure of the North Arch entrance on Tuesday 19 July to install the stage and again on Monday 1 August when the seating is taken down. There will be some noise associated with this activity. In addition there will be a sound check on the afternoon of Tuesday 19 July lasting approx. one hour.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
