Building work: Radcliffe Camera, Long Vacation 2012

10 September 2012

Building work related to the History Faculty Library relocation project will take place in the Upper Camera from Monday 10 September to Friday 28 September.

The work involves creating a staff office and consultation area, increasing the amount of power sockets and some minor rearrangement of furniture to increase seating capacity. New power and data points will also be added to Bay 1 in the Lower Camera to allow self issue machines to be located in this reading room.

There will be some intermittent noise associated with the building work but disruption will be kept to a minimum.

A fetching service from open shelf material kept in the Upper Camera will be maintained throughout.
