Two new electronic databases

27 July 2007

Oxford University Library Services is pleased to announce that two electronic databases, Early English Books Online (EEBO) and Eighteenth-Century Collections Online (ECCO), are now fully integrated with OLIS, Oxford Universityís online catalogue (http://library.ox.ac.uk/).  The bibliographic records for all 240,000 items have been loaded into OLIS, giving readers in Oxford an exceptionally powerful search facility across the entire collection. Readers can choose between viewing the original works and linking straight into the electronic full text. The service also provides full-text searching capability and 24/7 remote access from the researcherís desktop.

More details about the datebases and how to access them can be found at www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/news/2007_july_27
