Increased opening hours on Saturdays in OULS libraries

More OULS libraries will be open throughout the day on Saturdays on or before 6  October. The following libraries will be open from 10 am to 4 pm, both in term and vacation.

 

Old Bodleian Library

All Reading Rooms open – commencing Saturday 4 August

 

New Bodleian Library

Services will be consolidated in the Philosophy Reading Room & the Modern Papers Reading Room (for more information see ‘Extended Saturday Opening from 4 August 2007: Changes in the New Library’, www.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/notices/2007_july_16) – commencing Saturday 4 August.

 

Radcliffe Camera

Both Reading Rooms open – commencing 6 October

The Camera will be closed on Saturdays during August and September

 

Taylor Institution Library

Commencing 8 September

 

In addition, the Department of Education Library will now open between 1 and 5 pm on Saturdays and between 12 and 4 pm on Sundays.

 

Note that other OULS libraries that have been offering weekend opening to readers will continue to do so.
