Bodleian Libraries invests in e-resources for the Humanities

3 August 2012

As part of the Libraries' ongoing commitment to invest in e-resources for its users, a significant number of new databases have arrived and are now available to staff and students of Oxford University and readers of Bodleian Libraries. These databases, which are focused on subjects in the Humanities, are now available on SOLO and OxLIP+, the Libraries' information platform. The more than 10 databases (a full list is below) include: 'Popular Culture in Britain and America, 1950-1975', 'London Low Life' and 'First World War' and 'Romanticism: Life, Literature and Landscape' and will prove particularly useful to literary and history scholars, researchers and students.

The purchase of the e-resources has long been planned as part of the implementation of the move of the History Faculty Library to the Radcliffe Camera.
