Building works in Stacks, weeks 1 and 2
New walls are being built at the entrance to both the Lower and the Upper Stack. Although researchers and graduates may fetch books, readers should be very careful when entering the Stacks.
If bookshelves are blocked off, readers should ask a member of staff for help.
It may be necessary to close the Stacks to readers from time to time during the building works. Readers will be notified when this happens, although staff will still be able to fetch books for them.
